Copenhagen 7/5 2020. 33 cl bottle from Belgisk Bryg, Emdrup Mosevej, Kbh. Queen of Diamonds on the label in the usual Het Nest style.
Pours unclear yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as fine, creamy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a malty sweetness and stronger citric notes. Citrus and lemon. Hints of nutmeg and coriander. Unmistakeable yeasty touch.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a notable bitterness lying just underneath. Lingers for a bit. Semi-dry finish.
A bit sweet for a Saison - but solid.

Pours a clear yellow with massive, thick head, befitting a Belgian.
Smell is yeasty and crisp, with notes of peppery rye, citrus and a hint of pear.
Taste is peppery and spicy, with notes of yeast, citrus, pear, funk and a hint of banana. Strong, clean bitterness on the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice saison, modern and well made.

Orange, quite hazy, beautiful creamy head.
Saison smell, with yeast, white fruits, light grape, kiwi.
Then again yeast, floral, hay, ripe fruits. Pleasant.
Very belgian, and yeasty.
Quite dry finish, grassy. Again white fruit and yeast.
Bitter in the aftertaste, along with spiciness and pepper.

Pepper back as it warms up. Drank this out of the bottle at The Old Rabbit in NYC in 2015.

It has that funky saison smell that to be honest I don't really like
but Wow! A big flavoured Saison, probably the best I've tasted
Hops & fruitiness & a sly bitter kick.
