Served on tap
Apprerane - Served a golden amber color with a tiny white head. The head fades very fast to leave a little lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell - The aroma is heaviest of tropical fruits, tangerine, and orange along with some herbal, grapefruit and musty smells.
Taste - The taste begins with a big sweet doughy and tropical fruit flavor that has a decent herbal and grapefruit flavor. As the taste advances more citrus hop and herbal hop come to the tongue and with a warning alcohol taste leave one with a nice thick and warming taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel- The body of the brew is thick and chewy with a carbonation level that is low. For the sweet, moderately hopped, and doughy taste the feel is great.
Overall - A nice thick and warming double IPA.
