Looks and feel pretty standard - amber, head quickly faded leaving a solitary bubble chain emanating from the bottom of the glass. Medium feel. This is where standard ended.
The smell of fresh chiles held a bit into the taste and then it ignited. Great heat and pepper flavors.
Have to say I have always been reticent to try a chili beer but these guys do such a great job with the styles I have tried I was not surprised it was this good.
Backfire did not.

needed tomato juice side for this one - it can get hot, but is delicious.
