This was on tap at the Falling Rock and since the Pliny was kicked I thought I'd give this a whirl. Now IPA and double IPA are probably my two favorite styles of beer and I'm biased towards west coast so keep that in mind when I say this was a very average beer. The beer looked good (don't they all), orange good head, some stickiness. Aroma was muted hops, boring. Flavor had a tinge of hoppiness (citrus really) but was honestly a very boring IPA and the moment it swished around my mouth I was crestfallen. My friend actually laughed as he saw the instant disappointment on my face. I'll give these guys another chance since they are new and they are CO locals. I am also starting to suspect that the lines at Falling Rock may be playing a part because the Blind Pig I had previous to this was also not quite on point and I've had that beer a lot.
