Brewed by Hildegard Van Ostaden in conjunction with Everards in Leicester for recent Wetherspoons festival. A straw coloured beer with a head which stays around for the long haul. As usual for 'spoons not much of an aroma but apricot is apparent. This has a warm sweet start with a touch of bitterness and then a pleasant combination of yeast, generic fruit, bubble gum and banana, before the bitterness reasserts itself somewhat in the aftertaste. A distinct alcohol taste lingers on the tongue. There's a fair bit going on here.
