the crush series keeps on going and the beers are all quite distinctive, this one is galaxy based and very good, this is right in their wheelhouse, very well executed. pretty murky this one, dense and sedimented and super pale but also consistent, frothy almost creamy head on it, looks like the hazy types that actually come from the east coast, tons of non barley grain in this i would imagine, do all of these crush beers have different builds or just different hops? i dont remember others at this level of haziness, but i guess its been a minute since i had one. the aroma and flavor on this line up pretty well, up front key lime, a light vegetal note, then fresh coconut, green grapes, melon rind, tangerine, and white peach, its summery in its complexion and bold in its dosing, bitterness is present which i have come to like in a hazy, but its not overpowering at all, and the vegetal flash is short lived, this doesnt hit overdosed or oversaturated to me for more than a flash. as it warms it feels more full, oily, starchy, protein-rich while staying dry, oats and maybe unmalted wheat in this i suspect, fluffy feeling through, not as weighty as it looks, and with good carbonation helping it along. a good showcase of galaxy hops in a very modern ipa, it lingers a bit on the palate and colors everything i taste for a bit, but i dig it. freshness just off from ideal when i had it, up there close to the best in this series ive had.

A very pleasant example of Galaxy hopping; 16oz can pours out a juicy, hazy orange color with a white foam cap. Tropical nose leans into some stone fruit as well, peach, mango and orange are all apparent. Strong hop presence and an appropriate balance in body for a 6% brew too. Pretty nice overall!

This is an exceptional beer from Reubens. I have already given away a couple of 4 packs and it has been universally well liked. Bouquet, feel, and appearance compliment this great tasting beer. Reubens delivers on this one. Grab a 4 pack wherever you find it. You won't be disappointed.

16oz can served in a big snifter. Dated 09/10/20. Can't remember where I bought it...I think it was Full Throttle Bottles.
Pours a light yellow with a small head. Hazy for sure. Smell is melon (more cantaloupe than honeydew, I think), cut greens.
Taste is still melony, but a much better balance -- some tropical, some citrus, very juicy, with a pith/zest bitterness to finish it off nicely.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and somewhat still. Overall, it's a pretty good beer.
