Can from Uptown Market.

A clear light orange with a dense white head. The nose is rich, fruity, tropical with loads of fruit - melon, stone fruit, papaya - along with some grapefruit and bitter zest. There's a soft, estery yeast note present. The palate opens bitter and aromatic, with a grapefruit extract note, along with a lot of tropical fruit. Melon, grape, mild papaya. Drying, bitter, oily finish, with lingering melon and grapefruit. The mouthfeel is a mixed bag, clean, slick but also a little estery, with a slick softness that's a little disjointed with the bitterness. Solid.

Clear golden brew with plenty of foam in the Brigand chalice. Flavors of grapefruit with a mango hint. Not sweet, but enough sturdy malty body. This is the most classic aromatic 'n' bitters IPA I've had in a while. Actually quite refreshing, so clean, with the usual light and sudsy mouthfeel. Moderately bitter aftertaste with a darker undertone. From the 16 oz can dated 08/05/22.

16oz can served in a big snifter. Can is dated 08/05/??, but I assume it's this year, since it's one of their 10th anniversary beers.

Pours a clear light gold with a small head, settles into a thin, remarkably even skin. Smell is lemony, citrus zest, and just a hint of booze.

Taste is west coast bitterness with a hint of honeysuckle and again just a hint of booziness.

Mouthfeel is fairly thin and quite resinous. Overall, this is a nice IPA.

another tenth anniversary beer, cool they did this many, very ambitious! this one is done with their brew crew or something, i assume a mug club or a homebrew club that meets there or something, folks pictured on the can i am guessing. its delicious beer, super fresh, light looking, and deceptively strong, pushing the double ipa range, but drinking dry and modern and easy, low bitterness, light on the malt flavors, super well refined, almost some lager characteristics even. sunny yellow brew, close to clear, average white head on it, doesnt look as strong as it is at all. big up front hop nose, some bitterness but its fruity too, weedy, and uniquely pungent, could be double dry hopped or something, but it doesnt look all hazy and thick like most of those, maybe some cryo hops cranking up the volume. definite pink grapefruit and white grape notes to me in the aroma and the flavor, an herbal thing too before the bitterness, and just enough rather neutral malt to keep it in balance. its juicy and bright on the palate, fresh as they come, clean and minimal on the ferment, and without any real linger even though it does have some late bitterness. the level of refinement is high, the hop profile, while not insanely unique, is distinctive in how early and bold it starts in the flavor, it hits the tongue right away, but is never harsh. this is super good beer, all of the anniversary ones ive had so far have been. im pumped to have them selling beer in idaho now, they really do a great job across the board!
