From a can. This might be the last of the new-to-me freshies I have. It’s been a good run!

Enjoyed two months out from canning, but not intentionally. In the glass it’s a beauty, clear gold topped by a cloud of foam. Even now the nose has an expressive FH character, with a more floral and fruit forward FH note on the sip.

16oz can in a curvy Fremont glass. Packaged 09/11/24. Bought it at PCC in Bothell on the 25th.

Pours clear light yellow-amber with a medium sized head and a medium amount of active carbonation. Smell is lemon, floral, and cut grass.

Taste is bright, fresh lemon and cut grass, strong bready grains and some rising bread yeast, flavors are all strong but well-balanced.

Mouthfeel is on the light side, dry and crisp. Overall, very good.

Exuberant foam on the golden brew bubbling up in the Blanche de Chambly pilsner glass. Light aroma of resiny hops and fresh alfalfa. Mouthfeel is light and spritzy and highly refreshing. Just a slight sweet note and more of a tang from the hops. Taste is an elegant mix of fruity notes with the cereal. Certainly a better than average modern American Pilsner. It's a hoppy Lager bursting with aromatics, but restrained and not over-hopped. Quaffable is the word for this stuff. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 09/12/24, just two weeks ago.

cant help but be impressed with this one, a triumph from these guys and a wet hop beer in a style that isnt a pale or an ipa, but rather a pils type, modern and hoppy as heck, but different, lighter on the grain side, some rice in the mash which is rad, keeps this delicate but not bland, and the hop profile rules, fresh luminosa in this, is anyone else even doing that? looks real light in color which is what i wanted from a pils type, close to clear, frothy headed from the tap and lasting, so good to find this beer in this format. nose of dried culinary herbs, ripe white peach, and cheap white wine, flattering all the way, fresh as can be, lightly european from the malt, some minerality, simple and good, lager yeast is light but not invisible, and the flavor matches all of this. the hops are juicy and unique, stone fruit galore but herbal and floral too, orange flowers like daffodils and marigolds come to mind more than anything else, actual oranges too, orange melon, its all here, lemongrass, subtle galangal, kiwi, its unique and awesome and all the grain is well enough out of the way that this pops as hoppy and clean, but there is some pils malt foundation and some lagered crispness that balance it and set it off. freshness on point, recipe sick, execution pro, love it. this is a drinker, one of the more memorable fresh hop beers of the year this year, and representative i think of the new approach to the season. world class and a top all time beer from these guys in my opinion!
