The beer poured out of a tap, murky and pink, yet still reminiscent of a beer for the strange color.
The smell and immediate taste was a pale, hoppy wheat beer. The berries may have overpowered the taste, but went along with it. However, the aftertaste was that of black licorice. The taste of licorice lingered far too long into the next few sips to make the beer any more enjoyable after that point.
Still, it was adventurous and I admire that. Worth a try, but try a single before you get a six-pack.
