This was definitely unique. Refreshing and easily drinkable. This was definitely a change of pace for me but I'm just glad the ginger wasn't overpowering!

this was easily my favorite beer i had at mountain sun last night. it has a great ginger nose, plenty of body, wonderfully alive carbonation, and a unique floral bouquet that teases jasmine, lavender, chamomile, citrus. pale and hazy, yellow, muted, it looks the part. nice head too, better than most other beers i saw going out last night. the ginger is the most dominant flavor, but its not spicy or hot or so intense as to overpower the beer. i like the fuller bodied wheat malt, their raspberry wheat could have used a little more of this i thought, or maybe it just seems more heavy handed here. either way its summery but not too light, which is hard to achieve and really well done here. great use of ginger, very fresh, and very refreshing too, nice for the coming warmer weather, and great with spicy food like their excellent chicken wings. the thing that makes it stand out for me is that floral element, way past honey, but not dissimilar. it adds another layer thats really special, and spot on for the season.

The beer pours a hazy pale gold color with a 1/2" white head that fades to lacing. The aroma is great. It has a nice malt presence with loads of ginger; very refreshing. The taste is great as well. It has a refreshing light lager flavor that is a bit fruity and dry. It is loaded to the gills with ginger. It is pretty intense, but I really enjoyed it. These guys don't wimp out and brew for the masses. They experiment and make a truely unique tasting beer with lots of flavor. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a low/medium bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This was a damn good beer. I guess if your not into ginger or spiced beers, you should stay away from it. As for the rest us who enjoy something extreme and/or out of the ordinary, this really hits the spot.

Had this on-tap at the brewery. Had the appearance of a slightly dark macro (dark yellow, very clear), but the smell was overpowering with ginger.
The taste was very unique, ginger says it all. After-taste reminded me of the after-taste of pickled ginger after a sushi meal.
Kind of weird overall, but I applaud the effort to make a unique drink.

Continuing the streak of brew that was upsetting me at this particular brewery was the Jah'Mon Ginger. Though admittedly no fan of the style, I have found a few tasty exceptions. I think this particular one sent me back a few steps.
This 'beer' pours out a watered down Bud Light yellow with a strangely 'champers' appereance, bubbles everywhere.
This beer was much like Corona blasted with a tincture of ginger. There was no body to this beer. In a strange way I was reminded of Anchor Small beer strained through ginger.
