Deep black mith some redwood hues. Thick and lacy espresso head.

Nose began with a big complex malt structure. Aromas of sweet chocolate, berries, and rich candy. Also a opposition of molasses, licorice, and earthy hops.

A battle between charred malts and floral hop oils. Bothh equally complex and surrounded by Plums, espresso, fudge, oats, molasses and licorice.

Thick and chewy yet delicate over the palate.

A variety of hops cuts through a thick stew of sweet fruity malts. Everything in balance and delicious. Was a good deal at $2.50 for 8oz, but $4.00 is getting pretty expensive.

Appearance - As expected with most impStouts, blacker than anything, with a smallish brown head that dissipates rather fast.

Smell - Malts, prunes, alchohol (to a lesser extent).

Taste - Alchohol fills the mouth, but quickly dies down to reveal a deep roast espresso character. Hop bite nicley coincides to mellow the sweetness.

Mouthfeel - Smooth, thick, and lightly carbed

Drinkability - Quite strong, the 8 oz. glass was enough to make my buzz double, fast. One of the best I've ever had!
