This is my idea of an English double IPA. It has a hazy tan color with a nice beige head. The nose has a nice balance between floral soft hops and rich candy malts. The taste also has a very nice balance to it. Big hops and fruity malts. Full body goes down well.

On tap at Mountain Sun and served in a small 8oz wine glass. Smell was herbal, flowery hops. Orange color with little to no head. There was no bitterness nor citrus flavors from the hops, just a floral, soapy (in a good way) flavor and some honey. I liked this beer a lot.

Server said this was an American double IPA, but I don't see it.
Anyway, hazy golden with a medium, filmy head. Not very productive.
Slight Earthy bitterness to it, perhaps creamy. Flavor of rich hops and nice sweet malt is overpowered by the bitterness. Damn, very bitter, but not biting. Just lingers around. Can't say this is a great beer. Solid at best.
