On-tap at the Mountain Sun. Served in a Snifter.

A: Cloudy oak with a small and wispy bone cap. The foam quickly falls to a patchwork film. Leaves bits of lace.

S: Pale fruits dominate. Pear and green grape are the aromas that come through strongest. Pepper and coriander add a nice spiciness.

T: The pale fruits out front are quickly displaced by a spicy dose of pepper and coriander. The beer thins out some in the middle. The finish is slightly metallic.

M: The medium-light body feels under carbonated for a Belgian style beer.

D: This is a nice little beer. I'm glad I grabbed it.

Had this one on tap at Mountain Sun the other night. Poured a hazy, medium yellow color, with a sizable amount of white foam on top. Aromas of Belgian yeast, light spice and a little hop. Crisp, fairly light bodied and drinkable. A little spice, sweet malt and yeast. A nice light Belgian-style ale.

A new beer from MS tapped at Vine Street pub in Denver for their 2nd bday. Not sure exactly how to classify this one, but since blonde is in the name...go with it, even though it's Belgian inspired.
That means yeasty, to me anyway. Pours a pale gold, some cloudiness. Pretty big head at first, dense. Leaves to a small lacing.
Spicy, fruity, yeasty aroma. Good sense of summertime here. Light, nothing powerful. Some clove in the end nose. Mouth waters...
Fruity taste with that subtle Belgian yeastiness to it. Bready backbone is drenched with light citrus/lemon. Spice takes the acid away from the fruit. Coriander and clove. Light, still.
Carbonation cuts through the yeast and breadiness. Finishes clean. Fairly easy drinking. i was outside and the beer got a bit warm towards the end. Colder is better for this one, imho
