10oz glass on tap at Vine Street Pub. Dark black color. Aroma is slightly hopped, roasty, not much Belgian yeast influence that I detect. Flavor was much the same but might have had some fruitiness to it that could be Belgian yeast, I don't know. Overall, not bad but not great. Slightly better than average.

On tap at Vine Street Pub.
Poured into a snifter.
Appearance - coffee black, off white head, lacing is superb!
Smell - some pine and hint of grapefruit, but also some banana, cloves, coriander; definitely a Belgian style brew, may remind me a bit of a hefeweizen. Interesting!
Taste - a very interesting black IPA. The Westmalle yeast strain is fairly easy to detect.
Feel - more Belgian IPA than black IPA.
Overall - really good, well crafted brew. A bit pricey, but well worth a try!
