On tap at Barrelhouse Visalia
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces beautifully.
S: Light vanilla and lactose, citrus, slightly tart stone fruit, biscuity malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
T: Citrus, tangerine, lemon, and lime, slightly tart stone fruit, lots of apricot, subtle lactose and vanilla, biscuity malt, and just a touch of caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: I had to try this one, even though I haven't been the biggest fan of milkshake IPAs. This one is nice. The fruit comes out and plays nicely, and the lactose and vanilla are relatively restrained adding just a little extra depth. I dig it.
