A new cold IPA made with Nectaron hops from New Zealand. This hop is very similar to Galaxy hops. It has big tropical & passion fruit notes with a distinct peppery character and as suggested by the name of the hop, a stone fruit flavor.

On tap at BarrelHouse Fresno
A: Pours golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and very nicely.
S: Bright, quick hit of citrus before the wave of tropical and stone fruit, a touch grassy, slightly toasty greasy malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
T: Big tropical and stone fruit, pineapple, apricot, nectarine, passion fruit, mango, guava, grape candy, and a hint of melon, a touch of spicy pine, soft slightly toasty bready malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderately prickly carbonation.
O: Wow, really wasn't expecting this to be probably the best Nectaron beer I've had so far. Bright, balanced, really shows off the best things Nectaron brings to the table.
