A: Poured from the can into a V-shaped glass that's like a shorter, wider pilsner glass. Body is clear coppery-amber with a wisp of khaki-colored head on top.
S: Modest nose of grains and toasted bread - but you really have to get your nose in the glass to find it.
T: Toasted grains, toasted bread, some biscuity malt, and a hint of caramel malt. Clean and tasty. A touch of bitterness at the finish keeps this from becoming too sweet on the aftertaste.
M: Light-to-medium in heft, leaning light. Fine but active carbonation.
O: Solid. This hits the profile I prefer in my Oktoberfests. Flavorful but clean and an easy drinker.

a nice toasty oktoberfest, among my favorites i had while i was in here, a mellow and hearty pint, a great pairing for a mix of their appetizers here on their lovely front garden patio area, what a cool spot! cool pint glass too, i like these wide bucket looking ones, get my nose right in there on top of the rusted orange liquid which holds less head than it should in this style to smell a quite traditional brew, old world lager yeast evident, a bready grain foundation with some sweetness, and an autumn essence that seems perfect for this time of year. the flavor and texture kind of make an impression at the same time to me, minerals underneath it all, some warming toasted elements, sweet but without any real linger, graham cracker and light maple, some light astringency late drying it out even more, but a nice rustic lager yeast there as well, appropriately light on the hops, and just a half step under carbonated, but it still drinks nicely. i get some light fruity character in the center as it warms, raisin and apple, pleasant. not one to make a lasting impression or anything, but the exact right beer for the moment when i had it, and showing some decent skill with the lagering. what a fantastic place to hang out, great service too. we loved it here.

A: Deep coppery garnet. Head is really flatline...not much effervescence nor can I really attest to the color.
S: Cherry wood, peat like maltiness that makes me think I'm in Edinburgh, not Munich. Sweet, honey roasted pecans.
M: Creamy, med-full texture but lacks in carb and is not finely attuned.
T: Flaky biscuit and a sweet, almond nut finish.

Poured a copper body with minimal head. Aroma has some graininess and roasted malt presence (almost bready) with minimal sweetness. An overall dry, almost biscuit-like beer with a dry crispness around beer and in the finish but also enough hop bitterness and malty sweetness for some balance.

Druthers nailed it on the head with this one. A good mellow drinker on a fall afternoon. Medium bodied with toasted malt and a slight hop bitterness. You could easily pound back a handful of these in one sitting.
