5/11/21...pours dark brown, rich and deep, touches of off white foam rings. Rich malty caramel chocolate candy smell. Taste is a brilliantly balanced brown, light nutty sweet instantly knocked out by the galaxy hop bitter. Crisp with loads of flavor. Excellent.

Dark brown appearance with a sparse tan head that recedes quickly to a collar, low retention, sparse lacing. Roasty, caramel, nut notes. Medium body, moderate to mild carbonation.

I had this on draft today and was pleasantly surprised. Brown ales are not my favorites but this was pretty good. It was a coffee color with almost a two finger head. It smelled almost fruity and had a nice smooth taste and mouthfeel. It had a slightly caramel aftertaste.

On tap at Rock N' Mexicana at the Winwood Inn in Windham, NY.
This one pours with a slightly murky brown hue, with a small white head, and not much lacing.
This smells malty, with some light caramel sweetness and dark breadiness. I don't get any hop character on the nose.
The malt flavors are decent here, but it's definitely a bit thinly flavored, and a little bit too sweet- I'd want some roastiness or bitterness to balance out the sweet caramel character here.
This is lighter bodied, and a bit creamy, with a typical level of carbonation.
This just an average run of the mill brown ale. Nothing crazy here.

Part of a beer sampler; served in a 5 ounce glass. Nice brown coloration and a moderate head. First sip reveals the sweetness of the Munich malts, balanced by the Cascade and Equinox hops for a clean finish. The 5.6% abv well hidden within the taste. Very good Brown Ale.
