probably the best beer from my visit to druthers. its nothing overly complicated or intriguing, but its an extremely well made stout, loosely foreign style, with what i interpret as an english ale yeast and a little sweetness in there too. its shiny dark brown in appearance, and has a great nose of dry cocoa powder and dark chocolate. the flavor is layered well, with a chocolate covered espresso bean finish, thats built up to with dark barley roast and a hint of caramel malt. full body and silky feel, not under carbonated, but light in that respect. perfect alcohol content for sessioning, and a great morning beer with the coffee hint on the back end. it got a little heavy for me with their mac and cheese for lunch, but that was a product of my own doing, not an issue with the beer.
