Very clear, copper and color. Nice thick head. Nose is zesty and Brady at the same time. Unfortunately, the taste did not hold up to the nose. Sort of a weak flavor to it in my opinion.

Had this at the brewery as part of a beer sampler. Poured from the tap into a 5 ounce glass. Hazy amber in color with a small head. The other hefeweizen that is brewed here, 'Against the Grain', was not on the menu. According to Druthers 'this Bavarian style wheat beer is fermented with a special ale yeast that create the banana and clove character that are hallmarks of the style. Plenty of Munich malt lends a rich flavor and body'. It is a tasty example of the style; having not tried the other weizen offered here I can't make comparisons but this one gets high marks for flavor.
