Pretty good gose. It's sour but not too sour. It does have just a little bit too much salt on the front end. Other than that it's a great beer. Will drink again.

Druthers Brewing Co. "The Dare"
on tap @ Druthers Brewing Co., Albany, NY on 4 June 2016
Notes: Hazy yellow body beneath a short head of white. The head retention and lacing are average. The nose is clean, if you can call it that, seeing as it has a slight sourness like you might find in a cider, and some salt alongside grainy wheat and background spice. It's at least not funky, shall we say? And the flavor follows. It's perfectly balanced between wheaty malt, tartness, and salt; and a delicate spiciness from coriander appears in the acidic, dry finish. Gose can be a hard style to pull off, and this is one of the better examples I've had.
