Notes: Clear dark gold/amber body beneath a frothy slightly off-white head that shows good head retention and lacing. The aroma is clean, malty and caramelish, and gently fruity with the suggestion of dark skinned fruits. The flavor follows with a bit of added toastiness to the malt, and it's well-balanced by a stiff bitterness that takes it to a semi-dry finish as the malt steadily erodes from the palate. Medium-leaning towards medium-full in body and gently bristling on the tongue before warming to become a bit smoother. Well-balanced, rounded, and easy to drink.
