Our New England pale ale is brewed with pale Munich and wheatmalts, oats and a lot of hops! The big fruity resinous aroma has notes of pineapple, citrus and pine. The flavor is overtly hoppy with a smooth malt presence that brings some balance to the hop extravaganza. Did we mention it's hoppy?

5/19/21....pours dark gold with thin white foam layer with a ring around the edge. Fruity notes, grapefruit and tropicals everywhere, especially. Rind filled bitter, pushy and strong. Lighter bodied. Tasty fruity IPA>

A: The beer is rather hazy pale yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that rapidly dissipated, leaving a narrow collar of white bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of orange citrus, pineapple and pine are preset in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and starts off with initial flavors of citrus and tropical fruits and finishes with hints of pine. Only a slight amount of bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and somewhat juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The aromas and flavors in this New England-style IPA aren't bursting out as much compared to some of the other beers in the style but it is very easy to drink.

12 oz. bottle.
Bottled December, 2018.
Moderate pour yields a 1/2 inch white head over a hazy golden body with some nice sticky lacing. Real nice nose of tropical fruit, citrus, and some pine. Taste mirrors nose with the tropical fruit giving way to a finish of citrus pith and slight pine resin bitterness. Nice feel and overall, another solid IPA from Albany, NY. Damn close to a session IPA for me. Cheers to Jon and crew!
