im not sure if this is a double dry hopped riff on another beer they do called three corners, of if its its own thing, but its over hopped and a little bit messy to me, i couldnt drink too many of these. cascade, citra, and centennial, an agreeable and now timeless combination, but there is more of it here than i need, more than anyone probably needs. whitewashed and super thick looking pale yellow, creamy headed from the tap though and real frothed up, more dense than is ever appealing to me, but i know some folks like them like this, the aroma is green and spicy, a lot of cascade and its oil, kind of old school there for a hazy actually, but its also vegetal and it burns, i can tell right away that this is well past its saturation point in terms of hops, the citra is there in a little softer voice, and thats true in the flavor too, its overpowered a bit but still leaves its mark, soft lemon, white coconut flesh, and even a subtle peach wrinkle, more soapy to me as it warms, the centennial smells fresh, tastes woodsy and wet, and adds the bitterness it seems. the hops go together well, but its harsh to me, lingering long even regardless of the bitterness, and it makes the thing feel sloppy, hop soup. the grain is gentle, mild in flavor and creamy in feel, wheaty and without any sweetness, i think a find base for a beer like this, its not part of the problem, and in fact this has me wishing for a not double dry hopped version of this, which maybe is what three corners is if the name gives it away. i hope to try that one next time if thats the case. this is for the haze bros only, it lacks balance and refinement, feels forced, and was a small doses only thing for me, despite evident freshness and a nice combination of hops.
