Vienna Light

Pours a clear amber, brief 1” light tan head, no lacing. Nose is lightly roasted toffee, barley, brown bread. Taste follows - canned brown bread, roasted barley, mild sweetness. Feel is rather thin and lacking in much body. As far as a “light” Vienna goes, I found this still offers a fair amount of booze (5.3 here vs. the 5.7 full version). Where it seems to sacrifice is on texture, as this came too light bodied and thin to me. Still, good toffee and barley notes, so something I’d have again, just not sure what the goal of this “light” version was.
