22 ounce bottle poured into a pint glass
Pours a very pale straw color with a slight haze, bright white head, no retention or lacing, not much carbonation. Lots of Belgian yeast, notes of spice, clove, pear, banana, and honey, lots of spice and malt. Notes follow the nose with spice, clove, and pear along with banana, bitterness is mild with the finish having strong notes of spice and malts, taste like German malts giving it a lager like finish. Mouthfeel is light bodied with a slightly dry finish and a good amount of carbonation. Very easy to drink.
A good amount of depth and complexity that I often find in Belgian style beers but it could use more aroma and flavor, very light on the palate that would make it an excellent session beer due to the low ABV.

On tap at Ritual Brewing Company in Redlands, CA.
Pours a hazy yellow with a foamy white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of grain, dried citrus peel, yeast, spice, and tea aromas. Taste is much the same with dried citrus peel, tea, and spice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp and dry mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty, light, and easy to drink.
Serving type: on tap.

A great, sessionable Belgian ale. A bit tart, like pear and granny Smith apple, with a very dry, spicy finish. This is a great warm day beer.
