Interesting description from the Beer-tender: this brewer was made for the construction folks at Boynton Yards. The beer was designed to be a thirst quencher. It was lagered with lager AND ale yeast. Perhaps best described as a California Common.
Hazy, dirty gold color. Small head from a very gentle pour from a can (to fit the 16 ounce glass). Decent wide streaked lace considering.
The smell is (too) mild with nearly indiscernible aromas.
The body (light) and carbonation (high) screams lawnmower beer but the taste is closer to an APA with some berry sweetness and white pepper-like bitterness. Shorter aftertaste.
