Tiny head which does off completely. No lace. Solidly amber in color with a light haze.
The aroma is earthy and sour.
Low carbonation which makes the body richer than it really is (average). The taste has the essence of sour but isn’t tart at all. It’s as if the beer is about to sour. This is a malt forward beer but there’s enough alcohol and hop to prevent it from becoming cloy. I do not get any Belgian yeast to make the beer for the style. It’s probably closest to an aled Double Bock.
