Smaller head. Film and rim bubbles ultimately present throughout the tasting. Nice initial ring of lace. Random spots thereafter. There's a green-ish hue to the neutral gold color.
There's a light sweet berry nose initially. Despite the brewer's description, I really need to tease out the earthy notes. I find this attractive.
The taste is it's dramatically dryer than the smell. This allows the bittering hops to come through. The earthiness is still weak. Decent aftertaste time wise -- long and bitter.
