From the brewer:
Crisp and refreshing Cream Ale. An easy drinker with a touch of sweetness and a slightly creamy mouthfeel.

Nearly no head and what's there settles to rim bubbles rapidly. No lace. Slight haze to the lighter gold color.
The smell is subtle but surprisingly spicy, like Italian spices. I don't get any of the soured milk that is common in so many cream ale. An improvement in my book.
This is a superior example of a difficult brew made well. The "cream" is present in both the full mouthfeel and the subtle sourness. That said. This closer to the maltiness of a Kölsch. This is one of the rare cream ales I would actually reorder.
