We’ve partnered up with Thorn Beer to make our favorite beer style- a West Coast Double IPA! “Allen Town”- brewed to be super dry and bursting with bright citrusy aromas. Layers of Nelson and Citra hops work together to produce a delightfully fruity beer with a restrained bitterness making this one satisfying beer.

Saw this on a recent trip to Windmill Farms, buying one of these, nine other cans and a 6-pack of a lager I like. Online description was “We’ve partnered up with Thorn Beer to make our favorite beer style- a West Coast Double IPA! “Allen Town”- brewed to be super dry and bursting with bright citrusy aromas. Poured a pale yellow-to-medium yellow clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass at different speeds. Almost perfect foamy lacing. Almost perfect retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled Nelson, Citra, white grape, papaya, mango, gooseberry, grapefruit peel, pine and wet grass. A little better out of the can with Nelson coming in much stronger. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted Nelson, Citra, bitter pine, white wine, grapefruit peel, white grape, papaya, gooseberry, mango and wet grass. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.25)
This was outstanding overall. Glad I tried it. (Overall - 4.00)
