Another beer from the 24th dipa festival last weekend.
Pours golden bronze like color, strong like lion. . . rudies baby. 1/3" white head. Aroma seemed to pop more for Eukanot than Mosaic, slightly weird, came off like a 10/90 split in quantity that way. A bit of an herbal tree nose than the usual tropical, berries, weed feel of Mosaic.
The taste has firm bittering hop aspect to it. 2 row out the way. Had that light neomexicanus lemon lime herbal aspect going for it. Brisk. Like so many dipas these days, this one did a great job at making almost 9% abv pretty easy to drink. Was pretty much in the middle range for what was at the festival.
I guess Claremont has a lot of trees, hence the name/nickname. If you're a garbage person, don't have non garbage expectations. Hit/quit. Like Kanye sang, Diamonds are Forever, and so is the internet.

Hops are listed as Mosaic and Ekuanot. Very sweet and very bitter. Fruity, skunky, and icky. Orange marmalade is the taste, but with a dose of quinine. Actually that's it, the sweetness of sugary quinine mixer with a dollop of old citrus.
Nice label showing apparently the city trees of Clarement, the barley tree and the hop tree. From the 16 oz can with canned date of-- holy smoke-- 7 DEC 2020. So I'm calling out Total Wine for why I usually never shop there-- selling year old IPAs off warm shelf storage. Let the buyer beware.
