A: A clear Autumnal brown. Dark reddish copper highlights. Scant head.
S: Caramelized sugar spiced almonds. Plenty of molasses. Very pleasant aroma.
M: Smooth, medium bodied. Not super lush with good carb bite.
T: Kinda like their nimptopsical ale. Great English toffee taste, molasses, and brown sugar. Surprisingly not cloyingly sweet with herbal/floral vanilla and almonds providing some counterbalance.

Pours a cloudy brown with red cast topped briefly by a finger of beige foam that relaxes to thin ring and bare cap. spotty lace is left on glass.
Aroma is all about caramel, bready malt, treacle, and light herbal bitter.Decent, if light/medium aroma.
Taste is all the flavors of the nose, with a finish that is more herbally bitter than one would expect from a beer called a "malt bomb". Simple, tasty, not earth shattering, nor super delicious.
Less thick than a malt bomb might be expected, with low carbonation, and a decent clean finish. More carb. would make this a better beer for sure.
Not a great beer by any stretch. Interesting experiment that I will have no trouble drinkiing, but not recommended.
