drinkable and well made pils here, maybe a little off from perfect proportionality, but a nice easy drinking lager that tasted just fine to me when i had it fresh from the tap at their quaint little brewery! just off from all the way clean in the glass but bright still, and high headed, lacy, and bubbly, looks appealing. aroma shows some obvious german lager yeast but also a little bit of an ester, its subtle, but maybe not as long conditioned or as cold fermented as it could be, and when i drink it, it does lack the crispness of the best beers in the style, but its not an off flavor or anything, and its hardly there. the malt is fresh here, the hops are scaled back a bit, and this should be a real wide appeal brew, nothing polarizing or dramatic about it at all. i could stand just a bit more balancing bitterness on the back end, but its not sweet or anything, just overly subtle there. fine carbonation helps it be refreshing, and overall this is pretty good, although somewhat unremarkable from a flavor standpoint. this place is rad though, if you are coming through montana this way you have to check it out!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
