I'm happy to see a saison from a local brewery and they did a nice job with this one. Hazy orange amber color. The smell is light saison yeast, faint lemon citrus, a little bit of wet hay. The taste is Fuller than the aroma with a nice spicy finish that lingers long. Mouthfeel is crisp and also smooth. Really nice beer. yb

Gives you everything you want from a Sasion. Rustic, Dry, Black pepper, Citrus, lemon peel, Bubblegum, bready malt, champagne like carbonation. Damn fine ass beer!

Appearance: pours a hazy golden yellow / orange color with a 1/2" head.
Smell: lemon zest and cracked peppercorns are easy to detect.
Taste: cracked pepper, bubblegum, some coriander, lemon zest, and a slight yeast tone wrapped in a bready malt base.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Crisp to start, less crisp at the finish.
Overall: an easy drinking saison that has a nice cracked pepper flavor.
