(16 oz can, 'GullPower' 3/29/21; gifted single can... poured into fat tulip)
L: milky, pale amber liquid; some craggy foam on the pour, but only a thin collar in short time, very little lacing
S: grapefruit flesh, pineapple rind, pine, oj, apricot muffin... overall muddy melange, moderate intensity... perfumy grapefruit juice scent lingers longest... nice aromas, yet weak expression
T: grapefruit and citrus-spicy oatmeal cookie; aftertaste is relatively dry, moderately bitter but bitey, with a banana peel essence atop the grassy, bready grain background... Citra character slowly pokes out more and more in the aftertaste; seeing descriptors (on the BSG site) for Cashmere, faint notes of melon/peach/tangerine all seem possible
F: light-medium bodied, with a subtle, silty texture in its finish... residual resinous dusting all over the palate; delicate warmth and parching draw
O: it's pretty good, just marginally dull in flavor clarity or rather perhaps just coming up short in its potential (maybe pull back the grain character a touch?)... at any rate, it grew one me as it went, but left me wanting to cleanse the palate with a different beer (1752)
