Made with over 200 pounds of oats, this beer is a fun interpretation of an oatmeal stout. We use a strategic combination of Munich, Caramalt and chocolate malts with light noble hops to balance this complex flavor profile. The copious addition of oats in this mash lends to a creamy and smooth mouthfeel. Keep and serve as cold as hail!

I was looking for a back up for my go-to stout (Obsidian). Many are seasonal, so I had trouble finding a nice bitter, chocolaty stout. It says year round. I sure hope Whole Foods Domain keeps it around.
It's a super smooth, chocolaty, bitter nitro stout. Reasonably priced, gorgeous, and delivers on flavor....

Love oatmeal stouts. This one is a bit different than ones usually seen at any major Fl. store like Rogue, Lost Coast, etc. Look, smell and feel is like an average one, but the taste is strong not of oats, but of roasted malt? It is pretty good but however not a session beer. A winter/spring beer for me.
