My brother bought me this for Christmas, so it's at least 5 to 6 months old. Dark tan, a very lightly colored stout, had a good head with very little in the way of retention. Smell is malty with a very strong sweet chocolate presence. Taste is sweet and toasty-plenty of chocolate, toffee, and caramel over a malty backbone. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Mildly oily feel, warms well, mouth watering. Pretty well-balanced, a nice dessert beer.
