An Imperial version of Bad Brewing's Chocolate Covered Coffee brown brewed with Michigan Chestnuts and then aged in bourbon barrels for 8 months.
Pours a dark brown with a minimum head that disappears quickly. First taste was pretty boozy but the beer mellowed as it warms. Chocolate aroma comes through. Enjoyable taste with good mouth feel.
