Appearance - Pours black with thin tan head that dissipates pretty quickly. Spotty lacing.
Aroma - Slightly bourbon forward with hints of coconut and dark chocolate. There are also some roasted malts and hints of vanilla and oak.
Taste - I can the pretzel in it, slightly cracker and salt but it is on the finish. Up front again bourbon and oak with some vanilla. Getting hints of coconut through out but not as much as I would like. I will say the bourbon is not overwhelming but makes its presence known. There is also some dark chocolate.
Feel - Full bodied creamy smooth some warming from the bourbon.
Overall - A really good stout I am picking up all of the flavors nothing really stands out all are pretty mild.

Coconut variant. Dark brown color. Smell is mild coconut, chocolate and roasted malts. Not a lot of bourbon. Taste is moderate coconut and roasted malts. Don't get much in the way of bourbon. Overall, I like this more than the original
