A: Pours a lightly hazy pale golden yellow in color with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and faint bright yellow + pale yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall sudsy foamy off-white head that reduces to a small patch of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a very thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light aromas of wheat + biscuit malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness. Light to moderate aromas of lacto tart lemon citrus and a hint of funkiness. Light to moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit zest hops.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of wheat + biscuit malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by slightly less than moderate flavors of tart lemon citrus from the lacto and just a hint of funkiness. Light to moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit zest hops which impart a hint of bitterness but the lingering flavor is that of light lemon citrus tartness.
M: Light bodied with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of acidic prickliness.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and definitely sessionable. Enjoyable with a light amount of kettle sour flavors + aromas as well as just enough hop presence.

Described as a session soured IPA. Smell is mild hops. Flavor is also mild hops. No real bite. Also, don't get that much of a sour flavor. Maybe my palate was fatigued from all the other beers I had tonight. Overall, decent, but not great. 3.58 score
Edit: Re-released 8/18. Get much more of the sour flavor this go around. Melds well with the hops. Much better.
