Pilot batch 7/11/18
This stout was brewed in honor of our good friend, Rich Wittmann, who has scrupulously tasted over 200 pilot batches to date. Brewed with Special B chocolate wheat and Carafa malts, this stout was then dosed with cold brew coffee and cinnamon for an incredible vibrant flavor pop to this milk chocolate stout.

I've been a patron of Triple C for about 5 of the 6 years they have been open. Every Wednesday, they do a pilot batch which is usually a one-off. I rarely miss one and at this point I have had about 210 different beers from them. Due to this, Chris Harker, the owner, decided to brew a beer in my name, thus Wittmann's Special Stout. I couldn't be more honored, and stuff like this proves that Triple C is head and shoulders above the rest of the breweries in Charlotte.
No head. Smell is cinnamon with light coffee. Flavor is a nice meld of cinnamon, chocolate and coffee with a light body. This is the perfect summer stout.
