This imperial stout was aged in second use bourbon barrels to give a slight bourbon and oak aroma. We then aged the beer on roasted pistachios, fresh roasted coffee and vanilla beans. Deep black in appearance with roasted aromas of cocoa powder, thick fudge, nutty pistachio and fresh brewed vanilla coffee. Sweet and full-bodied flavors of pistachio ice cream, vanilla iced chocolate cake and French pressed coffee.
