A: Hazy light yellow in color. Forms a modest, bright white head. Decent retention. Moderate lacing.
S: Light aroma. A blend of citrus, orange, and grassy-earthy hops. Pleasant, but faint.
T: Taste is light and bright on the front end. Orange and light citrus. Then turns to a good bit of pale malts. Biscuit or cracker. Mild sweetness.
M: Lighter bodied. Light sweetness. Good carbonation. Mild bitterness.
O: Not necessarily a bad beer, just not a very exciting one.

Poured into my glass and was like uh-oh..did I get a wheat beer? Crazy cloudy, right down to the last drop. 95 IBU 8% Alc. Hoppy, yes, but, not overwhelming with no alcohol taste whatsoever. This ale made me feel like a 49er (the gold diggers not the football team) who struck gold. Smooth and drinkable. Citrus flavor throughout. This is an ale that stands shoulder to shoulder with the best of them.

I never thought about rating a beer before until this morning. I drink beer daily year round from Bud light to Heady Topper if I am lucky to breeze through VT. I fell in love with micro brews over the last five years and I pick a couple new 4 or 6 packs up weekly to try.
But a couple months ago I went up to Lowell Massachusetts for a college hockey game and stopped for the first time at Lowell Brewery near the arena. I ordered up a Overtime Pale 2
and fell in love. This is the best beer that I have ever drank. I was lucky enough to find it in a packy last Friday and enjoyed them with friends over the weekend. If your lucky enough to find this beer on a shelf grab them before they are gone and Enjoy!
