Tasted on August 3. 2019 at the Fenway location.
Hazy light gold color. Moderate head which leaves some streaks and spots on the glass.
Musty and bitter aroma. Some earthy elements but no apricot.
Highly carbonated with a lighter body. Notable hop bitterness without any of the farmhouse yeast bite. The only apricot shows up in the swallow and then sites in the background of the bitter aftertaste. No sweetness.

Poured from s 12oz. bottle into a Portsmouth Brewery tulip glass.
The color is a hazy yellowish orange with two fingers of foamy white and some nice lacing left on the glass.
The smell is a bit musky banana with a tease of citrus aroma. There s bread crust aroma here in the nose that acts as a spine keeping things rooted in a field-like character.
The taste is a bit banana but dipped in a earthy bitterness that seems to scrape the taste buds and leaves a bready flavored barrier of malt that is hard to miss. There is a sweetness that is here but is only holds for the first layer then gives way to abrasive bitterness.
The feel of this beer is medium bodied with a lightness that lays on top. Then it let's a smack of malt smoothness slide in a spiked end that leaves the palate a bit dumbfounded.

Appearance: 3/4 inch head, moderate carbonation, straw gold in color, hazy
Smell: wheat, funk, and light apricot
Taste: This one follows the nose but with the apricot being more pronounced
Mouthfeel: sweet and funky, light in body, moderate carbonation
Overall: Probably the best of the special fruit beers Beer Works is offering this month. The base saison is enjoyable and the apricot compliments it nicely. I had a couple of glasses. Not the most complex saison but a nice relaxing summer beer.
