Poured on-tap at the brewpub and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a dark brown-black coloring with brown highlights around the edges and a creamy, clingy, coating, off-white head. Nose of cream and coffee, simple and balanced very well. Flavors are roasted coffee forward, with a solid cream highlight, bitter and roasted throughout. Dry, thin bodied, with a roast and creamy aftertaste. Dry finish, making this a very solid representation of the style.
