Poured on-tap at the brewpub and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a dark brown coloring with amber highlights. Not much in the realm of head on this beer. Nose of pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, and bitter baker's chocolate. Flavors are spice forward, with cinnamon and nutmeg giving a pumpkin bread character. Baker's chocolate highlights, keeping a solid balance. Mid-bodied, with a rich, sweet aftertaste. Lingering sweet in a dry finish. Tasty beer, and a different twist on the plethora of pumpkin beers that come out every fall.
