English style brown ale with notes of light roast coffee, dark chocolate, with a nutty quality and a subtle note of dark fruit.

Picked up a 16 oz can from the Energy Mart cooler on Long Shoals Road 1-30-26 for $3.19. No canning date but guessing early November (from Untappd ratings); consumed 4-12-26. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured brown with a mediocre tan head.
Nose has notes of mild roasted malts that gives me dark chocolate. Roasting and floral hopping balance this out nicely.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and pretty smooth.
Overall, a nice tasty traditional brown ale, decently done.

Caramel brown murky pour with a khaki cap. Smell features toast, toasted caramel malt, nuts, and slight char, odd but ok. Taste is awful: huge metal and char with nuts and earth, but this is rough. Feel is roasty, metallic, heavy for style, dry and harsh.
