Note to mods: It seems a bit silly to list all the NFCs under one beer. It'd be like categorizing every single Tree House Curiosity beer as simply "Curiosity". Hope this is okay.
L - pours pure OJ. The yellowest of yellows, even the head looks stained yelllow. Has some dark murkiness going on but I can't get over that faint yellow hue on the frothy white head!
S - zesty lemon citrus and straw. Has a funky saisony feel going on. Grapefruit rind and spices. Some orange and mango peek out in the end.
T - more of that Belgian funk. How interesting. Definitely dank, which seems to be Heist's style. Peppery spices pepper the mouth with a little bit of yeasty lemon twang. There is an overarching creamy juiciness, although not in the traditional NEIPA style. When I burp, I taste peach. The finish is sugary and mangoey, but the sip is bready and grainy. Like a saison milkshake.
F - as you've probably guessed, this is creamy and full bodied. Velvet.
O - not sure what to think about this one. The tin says "IPA", and it feels like and IPA, is bitter like an IPA, and has a soft flavor delivery like an IPA, but tastes like Belgium. It's the darndest thing, I tell ya.
