Crowler from 9/9/17.
Hazy translucent golden straw color. Healthy two fingers of head. Curtain lacing subsides to persistent ring and bubble sheet on the surface.
Citrus and tropical fruit aromas at the front. Deeper floral and bread notes. Pear, Apple, faint pine in background.
Overripe tangelo, Granny Smith Apple, faint lilac, bready yeast. Nothing really dominates, so weird notes keep pushing up on my tongue.
Low bitterness, consistent carbonation, medium body, finishes with some sweetness, but easy drinking.
Don't know the story on this collaboration brew. Pretty unique flavor with a subtle combination of hop contributions. I enjoy and look forward to these experiments from Heist.
